Al-Ibdaa Academic Group respects the privacy of its visitors and event registrants. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how we use it.

Data we collect

• Name, email, phone and organization (when you register for an event).
• Attendance data (check-in and check-out times).
• IP address and browser type — for abuse-prevention only.

How we use it

To manage your registration, send confirmations, reminders and change/cancellation notices, and to issue and verify your certificate. We never sell your data, and share it only with a partner issuing body when a partnership is clearly stated.

Service providers & cookies

We rely on trusted providers to run the service: Wayl for online payment processing and Twilio for SMS and WhatsApp messages. We also use the Meta Pixel (from Meta/Facebook) to measure our ad performance and show our event ads to people who may be interested — it sets cookies and may share your browsing activity on this site with Meta for that purpose. When advanced matching is enabled, the contact details you enter (such as email and phone) may be sent to Meta in irreversibly hashed form, solely to improve measurement accuracy. You can control Meta ads from your Facebook/Instagram account settings, or disable cookies in your browser.

Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data via our contact page. You can also cancel your own registration from your entry-pass page.

Data retention

We keep registration data only as long as needed to run the event and issue certificates, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
